urSESSION is gone.
Sadly, urSESSION is gone. So, I will not be updating my blog tree here anymore. Once i find a good new source of music, i'll create a new blog to share music.

time to concentrate on this...
first let me state that i'm not oblivious to the fact that i'm most likely just talking to myself here. i don't expect anyone to visit, care about, or read these blogs at this point. and i actually i prefer speaking when no one is listening.. kind of just expelling my thoughts, to my future self, for reference. so, if anyone does happen to read this, sorry if it's a bit rough, but this part isn't really meant to connect. it's more to keep myself on track, un-stress, and get things done. with that being said...
haven't had the time to work on this. it shouldn't even be that hard to set up, but trying to change the settings on 10+ individual blogs to match the first one is just a pain in the ass especially since the settings don't save and export properly. and there are a lot of things to manually change and add.
plus. i realized as i've been listening to more music again, that one of the two reasons for these blogs is to have something to EASILY share that music with other people (the first, being to keep myself organized and having something to rely on other than just my memory, it becomes stressful trying to remember too much and knowing there's no back up if i forget).. anyway, nobody is going to bother spending time to look through 10 different listings. if anything, they'd check out blogs 10 (the best) and 1 (just for amusement) and ignore the in between.
so, i'll be keeping all the blogs i set up, but everything other than 5 through 0 will be taken off the visible list to lower distraction. it's so hard for me to forsee what's best. it's really stressing me out and holding me back from getting this started. i'm big on getting things right the first time. so, i'm trying to assess it all.. mainly, the issue is that i want to keep it simple and only include what's necessary, but i also don't want to leave something out that'll leave me making a judgment call every time i need to post an artist. because i've already gone through that stress and it stopped me from posting anything at all.
ugh. i don't know. my mind is still going back and forth. i don't know if it's necessary to separate the like and love. maybe i can combine those two. and combine the okay groups. but.. thing is.. i'm doing this once. i'm not ever going to separate things out.. so i feel like i should do it in the first place. i should just flip a freaking coin. although, now that i've expressed that i would try to reduce the blogs i think i'm realzing why i just cant. i feel really silly for writing this all out where someone else can read it :D
i'm also not sure what exact order to put these in or how to label them. another thing holding me back is the numbers attached to the blogs.

this is the point where i realize, shit... i have so many other things to do. and this is stressing me out. i need to step away from it... and then it'll take me forever to get back to it.
on top of this, i also found out that i have Microsoft Access, and i would really love to build a urSESSION database.. which then, i think can be exported as a web page/site, which would possibly even eradicate the need for these blogs.. but i have no idea how build a database yet, i've never used Access, but i found an official online tutorial. so i sit here thinking. shit, should i check that out before i get into this all over again. probably. .. and, as i am currently jobless, learning something i could use in a future job takes precedence over building something that only MIGHT help out people (fans & artists).

and he's kind of in between what i like and not my style. the first track is cool, but the 2nd is too R&B. there's gotta be a "good/recommend" and "great/recommend". also, a "bad / bad", and a "bad / slightly amusing / funny" and i'd like to separate what i like, but don't love from what i do love. i don't even know why i'm writing this. nobody will even read it and it'll be deleted as soon as i create the other blogs.
i should be sleeping right now. i'm supposed to go out tomorrow. i hate that i cant just sit here and work.. too many other distractions always pulling me away. grrr.

those are links above (the stars). not sure if i need more blogs to separate my opinions. i came across an artist that fits another circumstance, but i cant remember what it was. i like to know every possibility that could exist to keep things organized from the beginning. damn, i wish i could remember.
i did just start with a thumbs up / thumbs down blog, but found i don't have time for commenting and i spend too much time feeling guilty that in some rare chance an artist i put in thumbs down w/ all the really crap bands will read it and have their feelings hurt and it'll start some negative chain reaction. (i don't like to write publicly like this because what i say reflects too much about my gay thoughts.)
anyway, i assume no one even reads or cares about this/these blog(s).. which is good with me.. i just need a place to keep track of what i'm doing so that i really can listen to every single artist on urSESSION and be able to reference and recommend stuff to anyone out there that might care.
